Conclusion

So that we have all together 6 skill paths.

Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill
For warriors with good damage.

Critical Hit-Hunter-Poison Edge
For top independent elemental damager with moderate durability and physical damage.

Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
For warriors with low durability, especially heavy armor, to survive longer.

Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge
For warriors with high health or warriors often offscreen to sustain themselves.

Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
For support-type warriors.

Guard-Soul Spirit-Bodyguard
For suicidal warriors or leaders.

Fun fact:
Bodyguard is not the original skill path. It was added to replace Fountain.

Fountain
Healing overflows

And below, it is the ultimate version of warrior skill path recommendation.
«1
  • You will have to understand a concept before reading the recommendation:

    Specialists
Specialists refer to warriors who do a specific job better than warriors of the same type.

    Generalists
Generalists refer to warriors who are capable of dealing with different kinds of opponents.

    And the skill path theory:

    Specialistic skill paths
Specialistic skill paths refers to skill paths which enhance warriors' strengths.
It usually turn the warrior extreme and sometimes unreliable.

    Generalistic skill path
Generalistic skill paths refers to skill paths which complement warriors' weaknesses.
It usually result in a warrior which is reliable and capable of dealing with different opponents.

You don't have to understand it totally yet. There will be a huge amount of examples in the recommendation.

    The format of each recommendation:
    Warrior name (attribute)
    Brief introduction
    The most generalistic skill path
    A more generalistic skill path
    A neutral skill path
    A more specialistic skill path
    The most specialistic skill path
Note: the recommendations about super rare warriors will not be in this format because it is hard to be determined by this theory.

    So let's start.

    Fire Warriors:

    Brutus (general, high survivability)
    A very balanced warrior.
*With Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike, Brutus cannot be a independent warrior anymore. He would require support like leadership.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike

    Abu (elemental, high durability)
A warrior with high durability and moderate damage.
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Zazan (general, high durability)
The only Phantom Shielder whom you can choose the skills.
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise

    Titu (superb health)
    High durability. Low damage.
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Boris (superb elemental)
Top fire damager with relatively low health.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Critical Hit-Hunter-Poison Edge
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Ying (general, high durability)
    A balanced warrior. Always reliable.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike

    Everard (high durability)
A weak healer with high durability.
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Naro (extreme physical)
Top damager with low health and good leader skill.
    Guard-Soul Spirit-Bodyguard
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Ivan (extreme physical)
Top damager with low health and good leader skill.
    Guard-Soul Spirit-Bodyguard
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Water Warriors:

    Ram (high health)
    High health. Moderate attack.
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Zengis (high elemental)
Top water damager with high durability.
    Critical Hit-Hunter-Poison Edge

    Clovis (general, high durability)
    A balanced healer.
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Yada (high durability)
    A good tank.
He has inferior stats to Kofi who has Shell-Antidote-Neutralise.
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Malik (superb health)
Generally considered unreliable despite having an extremely high health.
    Guard-Soul Spirit-Bodyguard
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Ardo (superb physical, superb durability)
One of the best normal striker.
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Leon (elemental, high durability)
A general and balanced water warrior.
In spite of the high elemental damage, Critical Hit-Hunter-Poison Edge is not a good choice because his physical damage is not high enough for Poison Edge. Moreover, Cutbert and Zengis with better offensive stats could get Hunter.
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise

    Alkan (high elemental, superb physical)
A bit fragile but he can do good water and physical damage.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Gunther (physical)
The only Armor Breaker who you can customise his skill path.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Air Warriors:

    Le Roc (high physical)
A good physical damager. A little bit fragile.
Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill is not recommended because the use of his powerful Special Move is sustainable. It encourages his death. Moreover, Overkill is not a proper skill for Le Roc.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise

    Sakuma (superb physical)
    A balanced warrior.
The Shell paths are not recommended because they cannot unleash this warrior's full potential.
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Akbar (general)
    A good all-round warrior.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Kendrix (high health)
    A balanced warrior.
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Toki (elemental, high health)
    A good air damager.
Critical Hit-Hunter-Poison Edge is not recommended because he is not the top air damager who is Erika.
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Otto (high survivability)
    A very durable Soul Stealer.
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill
    Guard-Mana Spring-Healing Strike
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Crixus (high elemental, high durability)
    A very powerful air warrior.
Critical Hit-Hunter-Poison Edge is not recommended because Hunter is an additional damage which do nothing with boosting.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Critical Hit-Retribution-Overkill

    Hannibal (superb durability)
    One of the best tank.
    Shell-Antidote-Neutralise
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

    Botheric (high durability)
Not very damaging but he should last long as he hides in the background.
    Shell-Auto Potion-Recharge

A healer who relies on his special move.

    Great awesome , bro.
A great end for a great person :(
    @minh_74 is Muchas xD
  • make aka retribution
  • @yakib Whoops. Thanks for spotting that. I should have corrected it. I cannot make that mistake in my (probably) final thread (at least for some time).
  • Bookmarked. If I have some time, I'll try to add it to the wiki, which was meant for these purposes.

@jacku If you won't return (I hope I'll see you here again, maybe when the Western Door comes or when something else exciting happens) I'll try to continue with this, seeing how extremely much it has helped the whole community, including me when I joined the forum when I was a noob myself.
  • What do you think about BG Mohinder? SS is bad on him but he can BG Hector/Gwen/Boris.
  • edited September 2015
@Julius I will return for the forum, probably not for the game.

I am active for a while so as to make sure this thing goes well.
  • @Alboinislove, I think that Bodyguard Mohinder is fine. With his tankiness, bodyguard is almost always going to activate before soul spirit- in this way it makes full use of his skills. If you boost, NM, NM, then AoE SM, then Mohinder will take the brunt of your opponent's attack- saving your AoE partner to clean up after Mohinder is gone. This works with tanky boosters like Spurius and Kwan as well.
  • thank you so much @jacku
i love clovis because of you

may the spirit of sakuma be with you

wait, Cutbert has been released? and if so, since when? (i haven't been here for a while. )
  • @AMFromGM No, I simply add it so I don't have to update it when Cutbert is released.

Added miscellaneous informations because people still don't know these.

    Bookmarked. Thanks @jacku
  • How is there a level 46 potion if the level cap is 44?
would this indicate an upgrade in warriors when level cap is raised?
  • Possible limit breaking? (Overleveling?)
  • Thanks for this guide.
  • Thanks very much for guide Jacku !!! , but you say different things here and different things in your previous guide and i am a little confused :DD
  • bumping this important thread
  • Lol I just thought about doing that. @benisforawesome
